Are SACCS able to offer discounts on the spot purchase placement fee?
SACCS identifies itself as a very specialised, intensive service with a unique model of care which recognises that in general Local Authorities will only occasionally have call for its services. Therefore it is unlikely that SACCS services can build a volume of demand from individual placing Local Authorities. However, to address this issue SACCS has developed a regional collaborative partnership model approach to obtaining discounts, which is based on volume of placements from a regional partnership rather than a single LA.
