Step 1: Identification and Assessment
Following an initial enquiry, SACCS conduct a no obligation, free of charge, comprehensive pre-admission assessment carried out by an appropriate professional. Before any child can be admitted to SACCS, key personnel from within the Recovery Team will be identified. This integrated team will be responsible for the drawing up of the child’s joining plan and the Individual Recovery Plan.
The Needs Assessment Treatment Plan captures the initial recognition of behaviour. Typically, a child whose assessment is around 70% of column one would be considered for placement. Those whose assessment is less than this level would not normally be offered a placement.
For the purpose of this website, the following examples are offered in a condensed form with key behaviours presented in red by way of a worked example.
